The idea and inspiration behind the “Last Honky Tonk” collection (pictured below) was initially conceived in September 2022 when Margaret first introduced her cowboy boot earrings to the public. Originally, it featured silver cowboy hats dangling below a cow print boot, but it was a match made in honky tonk heaven when a fellow beadwork artist and instagram friend of Margaret’s (Jay from @divingloonbeads) sent her the link to these horseshoe studs. Margaret then released a mini collection featuring only three pairs of earrings in September 2023, with the collection selling out rather quickly and receiving a warm response to the booties.

The Last Honky Tonk was released in May of 2023, featuring new colours and designs and was made up of eight pairs of earrings and one bolo tie. Below are photos of this design and the collections for you to enjoy. Each pair is done using size 13 beads and takes between 15-20hours to complete.
