This idea came to me during my early stages of grief. While looking at their life cycle, I could see similarities between both their cycle and the cycle of grief (well my grief at least). I can only hope the cycles of grief can be fruitful and blossom at the end.
This pair is so special to me and holds such weight.

It starts off as a flower bud, then the flower and a juicy berry to finish them off. The patterns for each piece were drawn by my mother, inspired by real life photographs. Beaded using size 11s, 13s and 15s and backed with moose hide.
